Vendini (http://www.vendini.com) is a thriving, debt-free, PROFITABLE, privately held internet company focused on providing the next generation in ticketing solutions. With over 3000 customers, we sell directly to venue box office managers/executives to replace/upgrade old systems (ie, Ticketmaster and /Tickets.com.) We're growing fast and need to add to our already successful team. Core team comes from Apple, Yahoo, Stubhub, & Tickets*com. Vendini is headquartered in San Francisco with a satellite offices in Boston and Beverly Hills.
DESCRIPTION
This is a very real opportunity to be part of something BIG! The door is open for the right candidate to join a company that is making very big waves in the entertainment industry - and we're having a blast doing it.
1) You'll be responsible for product PLANNING and EXECUTION throughout the product lifecycle including gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements. You'll develop MRDs and PRDs as appropriate.
2) You'll define new products by building on existing ideas, and working closely with senior management and our account managers to develop new ideas. You'll be HANDS-ON and will mockup and prototype designs. You'll communicate these ideas to our engineering team.
3) You must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality in the shortest time possible. You must enjoy the entertainment ticketing business, understand their problems, and find innovative and SIMPLIFIED solutions.
4) You are a results-oriented team player who leads by example, you hold yourself accountable for performance, you take absolute ownership, and you champion all aspects of customer and product initiatives. You escalate product issues when appropriate; you maintain a sense of “problem ownership” to see all issues through to successful resolution.
This is a full-time position located in SAN FRANCISCO.
REQUIREMENTS
• 10 years minimum internet industry experience required.
• 4+ years of experience in delivering software products, ideally web-based services.
• Strong analytical, technical, verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong visual design skills.
• Bachelors Degree plus Masters Degree in a technology or business-related field.
• Entrepreneurial drive.
• Comfortable with a small company environment/structure.
• Photoshop and web development experience is a big plus.
